We feed all of ours (22) in their tubs. One insists on removing all the hides before she will feed, but that's our only quirky eater.

All of mine are fed in their own environment and they all eat fine! All of my balls have paper substrate, but my boa has aspen and it is not an issue. I don't think I want to mess with a hungry snake in a pre-scented environment!!!

I'm curious. What's your primary language? I can tell you're very new to written English.

In the tub. I started out feeding in feeding tubs, but it took forever to feed my snakes, and I saw no advantage. I use newspaper, so eaten substrate isn't an issue.

Jeff, this is not elementary school. We don't go around with a red marker noting errors in spelling or grammar. I'll thank you to please stay on topic.

Re: Do You Feed In Or Out??

Well i feed my Bp in a seperate tub. It eats fine i have never had a problem with regurg or not taking the food. The only reason i started doing that was i had heard that if you feed them in their cage and you go to handle them whenever, they could possible think your prey. So i was told to feed in a seperate tub to more avoid the chances of being bit.

I take him out and pre-scent it in a 10 gallon tank, where he kills and eats, I then immediatly move him out (once it's in his stomach). So far i've had 100% feeding and no bites.
