Well sort of. . . I was feeding my ball and he lost interest in his mouse, so of course I am focused on him so that he doesn't bite my hand in confusion or anything like that and WHAM!

My thumb was bit. . .by the mouse?! That little sucker actually drew blood!

The funny thing is, earlier today I was talking to the petshop employee where I bought the feeder mice and somehow got on the topic of why I'm not a big fan of feeding live so here it is,

Mouse bites hurt! I acted like a little girl when a mouse bit me, yet when my snake gets me good i just look at the bite and say to myself "Cool!" I was at Animal Atlanta picking out mice and i had put two male mice into my bag, so i went to put one back, and as i put him back he got me hard! My finger bled like crazy from that dang mouse

That was me. I'm a 200lb guy and suddenly I was like "Oh man I'm hit! What about. . .What about RABIES?!" Funny how the brain turns to mush.

Jeez. I wish he would just switch over to F/T.

Try rat pups, they are bigger and don't bite. rats in general are much better behaved then mice, any day. Mice shred up each other, yuck

I got bit by a hopper today, if that counts...I was being all girly and cooing over how cute it was, then the little bastard bit me...didn't hurt, but no more regrets about feeding it, lol. My snake bit him back for me.

Additionally:
Yes, I felt bad about feeding live but once that sucker bit me and fell to the floor, he was about to eat a Fundamentals of Heat and Mass Transfer textbook thrown at him by yours truly. Hah, try to bite that!

Unfortunately, in accordance with the rules of natural war, I have him in his own little box and will be provided with food, bedding, and water until the next feeding. I may harsh but I am merciful.
