Don't let those brown baby pastels throw you off, a good pastel is worth it's weight in gold to me. The high blushing, the yellow that wont brown, just awesome.

I'm currently looking for a female, but I'm hoping for one just like Winston, (rabernets). He is a great pastel, and something to shoot for looks wise.

Many pastel were just bred and bred, with no selectiveness. I've seen some UGLY pastels lately. I saw one guy with a "NERD" Lemon line pastel... didnt even look like a pastel. Ugly little thing.

A good pastel is bright, no browning, nice blushing on the back, often a crazy pattern, green eyes, purple(y) head and a clear belly.

This is my male, he has browned considerably, but I like the contrast of the picture.
