How do you set up the camera?

Since I'll be using an old freezer for an incubator I won't be able to see inside all the time and knowing me, I'm going to be wanting to watch those eggs from the day they pop out of the mama, to the day they hatch so I was trying to find a solution to my problem without opening the door every five seconds.

I remembered I had a web cam my fiance got me for Christmas. Its great! It has night vision, audio, motion detection, 60ft of cord and is indoor/outdoor. It is a Lorex Media Center mCam Long Range Color PC Camera. Now will a camera like this stand up to being in an incubator. We were wanting to mount the camera in the incubator so we can keep an eye on the eggs and perhaps even upload the video to the internet for a live show once it gets close to hatching time.

So would this camera stand up to the humidity of an incubator? Condensation?

How would I do that with an old freezer. I don't have access to power tools and the like. The only tools in this house are a $10 screwdriver and a $10 staplegun.

Just tame yourself to only checking onthe eggs every 5 days or so. But the camera should be fine in those conditions, at least for one season (try maybe rainX ing the lens?) i dunno.

The camera is kind of expensive to use for "only one season". If its going to be iffy then we won't use it.
