lol.. thats seriously what it is!! Its called Lion Country Safari and we have annual passes... its a pretty neat place. thought i would share some pics from today.


their ball python exhibit, how do you like those hides.. grrrr... i almost want to send a letter telling them they should not only separate their balls but to supply better more secure hides for them

Very cool! That look on your son's face is priceless, he looks soo excited!

It never fails to amaze me just how BIG giraffes are, though. You hear 18 feet high and you're like, yea, ok, but when you actually see one up close...

its alot of fun.. as far as i know there arent many in the country. They have an AWESOME water park there too... its perfect for our little ones, there arent any slides or anything so as long as everyone adheres to the no running rule all the kids love it. it was just too freakin cold today. I do have pics on my website www.abcaptures.com of other times weve been there and the kids have played in the water. we do go to "regular" zoos also but this one is probably my favorite of all the zoos down here

both boys had a great time... they are always enthusiastic about our animals but when we go to places like this they both light up.. its alot of fun for all of us. and as for the giraffe height.. even that doesnt hit you until you see one next to a car or the people working there beside them on the ground, thats amazing! people could easily walk under them.
