Here's a female at about 6.5 feet playing "where's the boa???" I swear the first time she did this I about had a heart attack thinking she'd somehow got out of her enclosure and there she was the entire time, peeking up out of her substrate layer.

Starmom, I've never personally baked my aspen or carefresh... usually, when I replace the bedding, I spray the cage down with PAM and let it dry before placing the snake back in there. Never had a problem here.
