    Super Stripe (I'm so confused!)

I can't figure out what is needed to make my own Super Stripes. I've read about Yellowbellies and Vanilla's. Yellowbellies and Thunders (and I've read that Thunders ARE Vanilla's). And I've read about Yellowbellies in combination with abberant Yellowbelly-like snakes.

    Any ideas?

Super stripes come from breeding a het superstripe to a yellow belly. Het ss's are very hard to tell from normals, so get it from someone you can trust!

Yellow bellies with an aberrant yellow belly like snake. I can't remember the name right now or seem to find it online but it looks so much like a yellow belly that some have bred them to yellow bellies and produced super stripes by accident.

That's awesome! So I have to get a Yellowbelly Male and some wildcaught yellowbelly-like females and maybe produce Super Stripes?

I think I found my first dinking project

You'd probably have a better chance just getting a known het from someone like Jared Hornstein, i think he started them.

I think that Jared is calling his Specters, and I believe that Tony McCain is calling his line Whirlwinds... Kara posted a pic of one a few months ago if you want to go digging through a bunch of old posts.

    Cool! Thanks.

I found one Specter for sale
    It's 6000 English pounds

I think I'll go for the dinking. It must be awesome to hatch something strange for the first time without even knowing it would turn out that spectacular. And it's much cheaper

Ok, I've seen Kara's pics and it looks very similar to a snake at the reptile-store near me! I really liked this animal, but didn't buy it because it had some burning marks and it was a male.

But I'm going to buy it anyway. I'll post pics on wednesday or thursday!

Glad you found a new dinking project. Be careful about that male... a lot of wild caught snakes come in with scars.
