I need help/opinions

OKay this has nothing to do with reptiles, but seeing as how many of us work with paypal on a regular basis I thought I would ask here.

On Feb. 14th I ordered a CD from a myspace website, using their paypal button. I received conformation from paypal, but never from the company.

I waited patiently, as of the 27th I hadn't gotten the cd. So I emailed the company, and it has now been 48 hours, with no word what so ever, and no cd.

I looked up the email, and found nothing about it.

Should I go ahead and dispute it through paypal? Or would that be jumping the gun?

Do they have a posted shipping policy or anything? Or any sort of garentee that products will be shipped within a certain time of the order?

No they don't. I looked but didn't see anything other than the cds they had for sale and the paypal buy button.

Is there any indication that the website is currently active? Or is it one of those ghost town websites that someone put up ages ago and it hasn't been updated since?

No its an active myspace account.

My husband has been to a few of the musicians concerts. We know the musician is legitimate. I am wondering if it is some random person who set it up and is selling CD's that he doesn't have? It is an active myspace music account.

We usually order right from the record company, never had a problem.

I would email the address that the paypal payment was sent to first. If they're using IPN for their payments, there is a good chance you may have hit it during one of paypal's frequent IPN blackouts, and they may have never gotten the notification of payment (even though the payment went through).

I did. That was the only email address I have for them. I will let it go a couple more days. At least until monday or tuesday, since the weekend is here.

I just think its strange I haven't heard anything.
