If you're in Dallas, make the trek over to Big Cheese Rodents. They sell both live and f/t and the quality is very high. I'm in Waco and I still make the drive every month for 200+ mice. Plus, they vacuum pack the f/t, so it will last for a long time.

Use to live down by the Galleria but I just moved up to Plano...a lot quieter!!

yeap.....I have some that do that even after the Zombie rat dance I also have a female spider breeder that eats them butt first 98% of the time

You shouldn't have to fear for his safety.. If he is indeed a male, then all he will need is 2 adult mice or 1 weaned rat a week, or less. They grow and thrive off of alot less than we think they need. Big Cheese sells live too, for the same price as their frozen. $0.45 per medium adult mouse is all I pay. They may be a bit on the small side, but once they've been here a week and eaten my food, they are huge and healthy. Even my adult females don't get anymore than 3-4 adult mice(maybe 5 if someone is feeling especially piggish).
