    First shed

My snake is deff. in his first shed with me, He didn't come out of his hide for about a week and just last night he did and I noticed he deff looked like hes going to shed, was very wrinkly and loose and on his head its beggining to peel off. Is it normal for it to take more then one day for him to get it all off? and if this is a problem how exactly can I help him get this off?

i tried the shedding sticky but didnt see much info

    Re: First shed

It's not too terribly unusual. Something that you could do to help your BP shed is to raise the humidity up to around 60-70%. Do you have any way to gauge your humidity levels?

    Re: First shed

Let your bp be, let them shed on their own....

after a day or two, if there is still shed, you can help by soaking them in warm water/bath for 30 min. I did that last week for my bp, he had a stuck shed in 2 places, let him soak, & stroke the body, & the skin will come right off.
