I bought the same snake from IKEA for neighbors 2y/o boy. My wife went back last week and found a big stuffed rat so had to pick that up as well so he could feed his new snake.
The story behind it is kinda funny too...my father in law is a little leary of our snake habit-he's not really much of an animal person. So of course we had to call him and tell him that we got the CUTEST picture of his grandaughter...with our new 7 foot snake. He about flipped his lid. Then we e-mailed him the pic. He cussed us up one side and down the other, it was sooo funny.
