Pictures of my Girls and a Questions
Hi everyone! To celebrate the first meal of my newest addition, I took pictures of all of my girls today to share (my lone male is deep in shed). While taking these pictures, I noticed a strange, dented in spot on one of the eyes of my cinnamon girl. It kind of looks like a retained shed (she shed less than a week ago). The spot is clearly visible in the pictures of her, and I just wanted to see what you guys thought it was. Her other eye is normal looking, she has plenty of fresh water, her humidity is good and she doesn't act like it bothers her at all. All the pictures were taken without flash to try and show the new colors, and since the pastel het ghost female is still in quarantine her pictures were taken on a separate couch from the others, and both couches were sanitized for safety.
First off, Apple, my BHB line cinnamon girl from Superior Serpents. 375 Grams last week and never skips a meal (tries to eat my hand sometimes on feeding day).

Second, my original Ball python, a CH female baby names Pumpkin, 312 grams last week at feeding time:

And last but not least my newest addition, a Pastel Het Hypo female I got as a birthday present to myself. She was 423 Grams today.

Maybe bump up the humidity? Or maybe she rubbed it weird when she was shedding.

looks like a retained eye cap. if it does not come off try using a wet qtip and try and rub it off.

I agree, bump up the humidity in the cage of the snake with the dimpled eyecap. Should be no problem at all. Beautiful girls you have there!

Re: Pictures of my Girls and a Questions
Thanks for the advice. I have dealt with bits of retrained sheds when I first got my snakes, but never a retained eye cap. I was just wondering what the best way to deal with it was. I will up the humidity a bit and if it is still there in a day or so try the q-tip method. Thanks again!
