If there's one thing I can't stand in people, it's close-mindedness! All this 'I don't care to know what kind of person they are, all I see is their color/sex/religious affiliation'... drives me up the walls!
Oh, and that response of yours was PERFECT! Just what should have been said. I'm sorry the old nutcase got you with her purse tho.I've had a few interesting encounters on buses, but luckily none ended in physical violence. Most of them, however, do include the other party blabbering on non-stop to me...so be lucky she left and didn't start lecturing/preaching to you.
Oh, and Just in case anyone cares to know, the encounters I've had are all based on the nice Celtic pentacle I wear at all times.
