should i move her into a smaller bin?
Ok, so i posted about my larger girls not eating.. the 1100+g girl was in a 32qt before i got her and is still in the same size, still not eating. i offered her a ASF with no luck. but my question is for my 800g girl. im not sure what size bin she was in.. i have extra 15qt i *could* put her in and it wouldnt be *too* tight for her but i just fear it wouldnt be enough room.. right now shes in a 32qt also not eating, offered her an asf also with no luck (so now i have an asf in my house just eating and taking up space because i dont want to feed it to anything else and risk them getting hooked on them instead) so should i try moving her to the smaller bin? is that too small for her? shes very very long (as long as the 1100+g if not longer) but much thinner..
what would *you* do? the breeder has offered to take her back for awhile but i dont want to have to move my animals back and forth and have to start qt all over again! he has also offered to give me an animal in her place but i love her reduced markings.. and love her for her!
comments/suggestions please!

Re: should i move her into a smaller bin?
What are the temperatures?
All of mine are still eating, even the breeder males, except for one 1500g 05 female who wants a boyfriend Temps are 94.5 on the warm side and 82-84 on the cool side(might get down to 78 at night, but inside the tubs is still 80-82). Humidity in the room and their tubs is always over 55%, but usually 60-65% in the tubs themselves.
The 32qt tub should be fine. Maybe add a hide on one end, some loosely balled newspaper and cover the front of her tub so it's dark most of the time.
Also, she may just be being a teenager They are usually around that size/age when they start being picky about eating and get a bit rambunctious.

Re: should i move her into a smaller bin?
she has a nice hide that shes in ALL the time.. and i made sure it isnt too big, i can see her body popping out the bottom lol.
temps are at 90 warm, 83 cool. humidity is around 40% normally, if i mist it brings it up to 55%, her water bowl is near the back heat to allow higher humidity. i can add another hide if nessesary, i can also try covering up the front of her bin if need be but there is litterally little to no traffic around the rack as it is..
thanks for the suggestion Becky, it would be nice if shes just being a brat and would knock it off and start eating!

Re: should i move her into a smaller bin?
I would try Becky's suggestion first; but if it doesn't work, moving my 900g male from a 32qt to a 15qt gave me good results. He was fasting since October and showed no interest in food prior to the move. He was eating without a problem through the summer in the 32qt but then started to fast. He did this last year for 8 months and started eating again in the summer, but I decided this year I would try moving him to a smaller container. We'll see how consistently he feeds now in his new home.

Thats what I would do. Keep her in a 32 and add some stuff to make it smaller. Wait a week. Then try again.
