Use the spray bottle to mist....I mist ALL my snakes everyday and never had a problem with mold. Also, try covering the tank's screen lid with aluminum tape, except where your heat and light are...it'll help hold humidity in.
Good Luck!

Re: I have a low humidity problem.
Honestly, no matter what, that lamp is gonna kill the humidity. I just posted in another thread of yours on the same matter, so I'm gonna copy and paste it. Ditch the lamp and get 2 small UTH's, one for each side both hooked up to a thermostat. Put aluminum foil over the entire top of screen mesh with the shiny side down and secure it with tape. Poke a few holes in it for air, and you will be set. You will have stable humidity that will stay where you want it, good temps on the substrate, and the heat will also reflect off the foil to give some good ambient temps. This is what I ended up doing for my first tank after a lot of expensive and annoying experiments. Good luck!

Re: I have a low humidity problem.
you need a thermostat for your UTH or else your gonna cook your snake... Im gonna sound like a broken record but think about canning the 20L and get a 66qt snap top rubbermaid tub. Theyre clear just like a tank and a 66qt is pretty much the same size as a 20L. This alone should solve your humidity problem as plastic is a much better at holding in humidity than glass. Check out my gallery to see how I have my tubs set up... all 11 are pretty much the same and I have no problems. If you want some more details on setting up a tub shoot me a PM... Id try to help you with getting up the humidity in glass but I couldnt make it happen....

Re: I have a low humidity problem.
that bulb is too high power for that tank. you only need a 60 watt che. either get a different bulb, or put a lamp dimmer on it to tone it down some. all u have to do to keep humidity up is put the water bowl directly under the che, and cover the entire top with aluminum foil, then duct tape... only leaving a whole for the CHE.
works like a charm. I NEVER have to spray to keep it between 50 and 60%

Re: I have a low humidity problem.
You can also try a damp towel on top of the cage every day. I promise that will last longer than a mist
