For the last time I DO THINK if popping is done wrong it can cause injuries.

    Show me it can't?

    Re: Ball Python Prolapse Mess!!!

So you make a thread because you feel that Ball Python prolapsed are due to
a bunch of failed attempts at popping.
Yet your vet who tells you
about the horror stories all the time.
    and yet
    wont tell
    and then
tells stories about what he sees and hears from people in general. Nothing specific about popping sort of speak.
I am confused here so what was the purpose of the post again?

I think that since you drew the conclusion that it does, the burden of proof is on you.

I've popped more ball pythons than I can count, without a single injury. I also can't remember anyone reporting on this forum at least, that anyone has caused injuries to their ball pythons by popping them.

BP.Net has the best drama of any snake forums I have ever seen and I have seen a ton. This place rocks. I love it.

Anyhow, I'm sure someone out there in snake-land has damaged their snake by popping incorrectly. Although, I have never seen, or read a case of it happening.

I'm not sure man. You put yourself between a rock and I hard place by starting this thread.

I for one, would admit if I was popping a snake and it prolapsed, because I would want the proper help. Heck, I have done dumber and admitted it.

    Just me though.

Well than what are those specific horror stories, either one of those vet told you about?

How many prolapsed has he seen? and how many are due to
a bunch of failed attempts at popping

    Re: Ball Python Prolapse Mess!!!

So the guy thought all the Prolapses that have been showing up on this board as of late could be caused by bad popping.

And all you so called experts jump down his neck.

Some of you need to get over yourselfs

He is right about one thing there are some vids showing up Ralph Davis has one Adam has one i could see where a first timer can screw up and hurt an animal.

But some of you seem to think you cant hurt an animal from popping and your dead wrong and thats were he right.

    No one ever said that!

The problem that people are having here is that the OP jump on conclusions rather quickly
there has been two or three threads on this prolapse mess in a week.
All i see is a bunch of failed attempts at popping.
