My corn is NOT nippy in the slightest actually. He was my second snake after my BP, and he is quite active and very beautiful. They are very easy to care for, don't get very big, and are a joy to keep in my opinion.
I send the Carpet Python. Super easy to care for, very sweet with lots of handling.
I even think that some carpets could even be the "first" snake. Corns are fast squirrly and pee on you a lot. So if your not used to a fast snake, a corn might get away from you!
Actually a Blood Python was my first choice they are pretty cool but I've read they are very unforgiving and aren't a good choice for someone somewhat new.
I would LOVE to get a red tail boa but they get pretty big.
Anyone heard anything about ratsnakes?
Male RTBs dont get to big.
I also have a ratsnake, he is a Biards rat snake. Great animal, and the change they go through is amazing! I would love to have a mexacan black king, and well as a lucy texas rat! More things to consider!
