    380g.?

plugs? Maybe, You put him in with a girl and in a few days yes.

There is a very good chance of eggs. I would expect them if I put a 380g male in with a female. I do it all the time LOL!

It makes more sense now that you were planning on waiting till NEXT breeding season (I thought you meant in a few months). It was just a misunderstanding
Thanks.. and yes, we strive to take the best care of our animals.. even the mice that are only with us until they are fed. My goodness remember back when we first got Savanna and had her and Caution in the same tank!!! (to think my husband kept his ball python OUTSIDE in a wooden cage for YEARS until he was stolen by one of his classmates) how far we've come!! Sorry for the misunderstanding.. I failed to include vital parts of the question. Even our largest female is only 1100+Grams so I know shes not ready anyway.. I figured by November she would be ready for cooling and by then we will have had all of them for many many months (some of them over a year), on top of Hazard being big enough for breeding. Again, Im just trying to be as prepared as we can be... were even getting ready to order another rack since our side-by-side is only going to hold 7 snakes for so long... when the newest additions are ready to move into it and then eventually get their own full size bin we will need another rack. were just trying to do things right. I have spoken to many people and very few have any success with males under 500g i was just curious to know what the likely hood was. thank you everyone for your comments and suggestions as always they are taken into consideration

Just remember producing sperm plugs is one thing, breeding is another.

I have 1 male producing sperm plugs right now and he has shown no interest in breeding (It’s ok with me I have other males and there is always next year)

Keep in mind this is not a race, take your time, do some research, learn everything you can, have good quarantine practices and most important enjoy your animals.

thanks! I know its not a race.. were mostly excited at our collection and with the help of ALOT of hand sanitizer and soap were enjoying them all soooo much. We already received our book from Kevin (the complete ball python) and have loved reading it so far.. were trying to gather lots and lots of information and were learning more about breeding from all the people we talk to about it. I wish we had more local people to talk to face to face (or over the phone) about snakes in general, im sure were driving the people we do have local crazy lol.. im so thankful we have this forum!
