    Acting diffrent

I've had my bp for a little over a week, and pretty much he sleeps all day and plays all night, but for the past 2 nights he hasn't played [not that I've seen] and has been in the same hide. I hold him in the morning and he always is friendly and climbing all over me but I don't know why he's doing this, I am pretty sure hes going to shed soon because I can feel it and I can see a little bit of skin coming off on his head, eyes are also blueish/cloudy.. He eats fine but do they normally act odd before a shed? There hasn't been any changes to his tank at all

He's acting like a normal BP. They don't "play". He was likely getting used to his new enclosure when you first got him and exploring, now he's acting like he should. They'll spend the majority of their time in their hides.

    Re: Acting diffrent

They do usually become much more sedentary (as if they weren't already enough so! LOL) during a shed cycle. It's also common for them to spend 98% of their day asleep in a hide, even if they are not currently shedding or digesting. As they get settled in and feel safe in their home, they tend to sleep a lot more than when they first arrived.

Your description of the impending shed sounds a little concerning, though. You don't usually see "bits of skin" coming off during the "blue" phase of the process.

And see how that compares to what your snake is going through.

Best way to tell if your snake is going blue(shed) is pink belly.
