    Rat Age>> Summary Please

    3 questions. (FOR NORMAL RATS!!!!!)

    1.) At what weight do you allow your females to have their first pregnancy?

    2.) Using the answer from #1, Is it reasonable to expect most "petco facy rats" to in time reach this weight?

    3.) Using the answer from #1, how many months are there from the date this weight is reached to the point of "retirement"

    Just to add.

    250gs is about 4-5 months.

    My Petco rats will be up to weight in a few weeks, gaining any where from 15-20 grams a week normaly. They are great growers!

    Thank you, this was helpfull... what i meant by "in time" is... will their adult wait in fact reach more than 250 grams in all or most cases....

    They can reach up to 400+ Grams.
