im having an issue keeping humidity up in glass tank..so i was wondering would a himidifier in the room help keep this up?
The would probably work but it would make the entire room miserable for YOU!
I have a couple of babies in tanks. I covered the mesh tops with aluminum duct tape, leaving open room for lighting and a small area on the cool side for gradient temps....it works great and hold humidity pretty well - about 48% misting once a day
Just to say a layer of tinfoil (shiny side down) under the tape prevents any sticky problems later on.
It goes without saying all this should be on the outside (top)
of the lid not the inside (bottom).
