need some advice
I'm from Mass i have 2 ball pythons. Monty and Tank. Monty is about 3 and Tank is about 1. I bought Tank about 3 months ago and neglected to quarentine him. I ended up with a mite infestation which with advice and lots of looking I cleared up in about a week. But enough rambling,Monty has not eaten since I bought Tank. He sheds fine, drinks fine, and does not appear to have lost any weight. He did this last year at this time so I took him to a vet and paid $80 for the vet to say he looks great he's fine. Monty is going on 3 months now after eating a med. sized rat. any advice would be great. Thanks, Tom

Most adult balls go off feed in the winter time getting ready to breed. I have some big girls that last ate in sept. and are doing just fine. And have heard of some not eating for 11 months. Its what they do.
Do you know what sex tank is?

It's pretty normal for balls to go off feed for a few months especially during the winter. If your temps and humidity are good and he's not being stressed out by overhandling, too much foot traffic in the area, sharing his home with the other snake, etc, etc, etc and he's not lost any weight I'd say he's just doing what's normal for him.
If you have any doubts take him to the vets, but considering you didn't describe any other symptoms I'm confident that he's fine. Just keep an eye on him and if anything changes get him to the vet.

Are they being housed together? He sounds a bit stressed with the out cruising but not taking food, it's not hunting he's doing...
Has he lost any weight?
