here is the answer to your question... how to dilute it:

To dilute: Fill 32-oz sprayer with clean water, then add 1/4 ounce of Chlorhexidine solution OR add 1 ounce to one gallon of clean water. This bottle comes with its own dispensing chamber; simply unscrew the black cap and lightly squeeze the bottle until the solution fills the chamber to the desired level.

Directions for use: To clean wounds, rinse with diluted solution, then rinse with water and pat dry with sterile gauze. To disinfect terrarium/cage surfaces and accessories, first clean thoroughly, then spray with diluted solution and allow it to sit for 15-20 minutes. Objects can also be soaked in the solution. To sterilize, allow it to sit or soak for at least 30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with water.

Chlorhexidine gluconate is a safe and effective disinfectant for cleaning superficial wounds and disinfecting terrariums, cages, and accessories. Comes in 8-oz and 16-oz bottles, each with its own handy dispensing chamber. Also available in 32-oz refill. Each ounce makes one gallon of solution.

Generic quarternary ammonia compound similar to Nolvasan™ and Virosan™. Just as effective, but costs much less!
