I had an incident today with a shed, I read about inducing breeding behaviour by moving an old shed from a breeding pair's cage to another where there is no breeding activity. The scent of the breeding snake's shed might give a hint to the non breeding ones.

I took a little bit of old shed from a cage I have seen many locks this winter and placed it into another cage today. Now it's midnight and my piebald female and het male are almost banging the cage walls!

I don't know if the shed had anything to do with it, it could have happened anyway, but I'm not complaining! I had'nt seen a single lock with the pied all year and now they're doing it!
