ARS Caging
I was thinking of eventually getting ARS racks to house my ball pythons in. This will probably happen many years in the future but I want to get some opinions on these racks.
What is your overall opinion on these racks? Are they reliable? Easy to clean? Worth the investment?
What size ball pythons live comfortably in which model? For example the ARS-70? Is that rack for full grown adult ball pythons? Large Females?

Oh, another question. Would it be better to save up the money and buy the whole unit, or buy it level by level as money allows?

Re: ARS Caging
Since it's an open-air rack, you'll need to keep it in a heated/humidified room. I saw them last year at NARBC Arlington, TX and they were very nice. Well-built and sturdy.

Re: ARS Caging
Hmm. So would I need to use those electric heaters to heat the room? I'm hoping in the future to actually have either a very large space like a basement or large room to have all my snakes in or a seperate building. How would you heat a room to the correct temperatures? Would a seperate thermostat for the room work or would electric heaters around the room suffice?

Re: ARS Caging
I have an ARS rack and I swear by it, providing you have a heat/humidity controlled snake room. I have the 70 series for my large female balls. I went with the cup holder option.
I also just purchased tubs from ARS to build a rat rack with.
Brian Hahn is always very professional and helpful!
