Constapated snake?
Hey guys,
My male spider hasn't pooped since dec 12, and seems to have some build up. I'd say 3/4 of the way down his body seems to almost be like an inflating baloon and I was feeling down near his vent to only feel like he has some hardened poop blocking everything. I have him soaking in some warm water, anything else I can do. If this doesn't work should I try again or contact a vet?

After the soak, Message it out of him. But watch out for the explosion!

hahahaha the explosion , that sounds fun. Now do I massage just the hardened area? or start at the begining and work my way down to the vent? And is there anyway I could hurt him?

Re: Constapated snake?
Start right before the hard spot. With your thumb on the belly. Slowly and carefully push toward the vent. Kind of like popping him but softer. You will see it then POP!! Then a heck of a stinky mess.. LOL! Just be careful..

Look at that it only took like 2 minutes. And you were right that was nasty, and no spray back on me I held his butt in the trash can. Thanks JASBALLS.
