I'm not a big fan of scorps, but the breeding and care of young has always fascinated me!
congrats....are the babies related to the one that died?

Nope, I got that guy Saturday, and he died overnight.
Didn't get to enjoy him.
But the babies parents I've had since summer.

So sorry for your ordeal... If he died the day you got him home, have you spoken with the place you got him from?
I've looked at a couple of your posts, you seem to have quite a few which would lead me to believe you know enough of what you're doing not to be responsible. Do scorps pick up parasites etc? Sorry, I don't know much about them - I always guessed they would be hardy little sorts because there's so many various invertbrates running around the world (and I notice, for the most part I'm not a fan of many of them!)

Yeah, they can. But that's all that can really happen to them.
Also mycosis which is like fungus growing on them do to high humidity, usually only happens to desert species.
And yeah, I know how to care for these guys. I got little deli cups where sauce is put. And these guys need a 45 degree bark in order to shed.
I was expecting people to say "aw how cute" and so far all I have gotten was "ew" lulz.

Haha! I suck with words, I did mean that you seem to know enough for it not to be something you did in those few hours....
I won't say 'ew'... What I would say (and did) is: "Hey hun, did you know baby scorpions look like potato bugs with tails?" I then got a laugh in response.
