Give it some time. If nothing happens I'd take it away and dangle it in front of him so that he may strike again. My bp did this few times and after re-dangling the mouse 2-3 times he finally ate. Btw, I only offer F/T so I'm not sure if this would be advisable with live prey (or dead )
