I fed the second day home... But both the seller and I were confident that the stress of the move was minimal. Due to the seller's concern for her I also came home with the tub she'd been living with and all its contents. She had not been fed for two weeks prior to prevent a transport mess, and was put in a "no-traffic" area of the home. He and I talked about her "normal" behaviours, and when there was no apparent deviation we decided it would be fine to offer her a meal. However, she had not been shipped, and was personally transported from his home to mine in a shipping approved box with constant attention paid to making sure there was little noise, consistent temperatures and no being knocked around.

It was handling which was avoided in my case for the first week and a bit.... Feeding went fine.

It really depends on the snake, and the manner of getting it home... I know other members have also fed within a few days of bringing home, however it's really circumstantial.
