Do remember though to be specific. While it might not be as much of a worry when a big healthy adult fasts a bit, a young BP at a light weight is a much bigger concern. Very young BP's generally don't fast and when they do it's often related to husbandry, excessive handling, health, etc. Even with an adult, if it stops eating, it's always a good idea to take a look at any triggers that might have encouraged fasting behaviours.
When you do anything major with the snake's home, give it a bit of time to settle in before feeding. These snakes seem to do best when they feel safe and secure in their homes.![]()
