Are they expensive to buy like gerbils or hamsters? I'd never heard of them until I got on here.

Sorry, I would not know...the woman who breeds rabbits for our burms gave us 12 as she was over ridden....

although I have seen some females go for 30 dollars...but here, they have to have a permit for them which may explain the price
