Yep sure was. My fault totally too. Brannagh was very defensive back then and I knew I could never hesitate when I was handling her or be less than fully confident and sure in my movements with her. I hesitated, she nailed me, it was no big deal and barely more than a couple of paper cuts. I'm so glad though we got Brannagh early in our keeping of snakes. She taught us all so much about dealing with a difficult adult safely and confidently.
Now of course she's a big old girl with a great attitude (and making with the nice nice with Riordan of course).
