Re: When you feed?
Yes, but I stay close by. I go through and feed everyone but stay in the room the whole time. My tubs are semiclear so I can observe what is going on. If the snake has not got it within 15 minutes or so I take it out. With exceptions of a couple that really like to hunt. They may take longer but through experiences I know who hunts and who don't.

Re: When you feed?
I keep a record of who got what kind of feeder. Then in 30 minutes to an hour I go back and check I mark who ate and the non eater get put back till next week.

Re: When you feed?
Always watch the strike...That is when rats can get a good bite in if the snake does not get them in the right spot. I keep tongs in hand and stick it in the rats mouth if it can get its head to the snakes body.

Re: When you feed?
I usually drop the prey in the enclosure and remove it if not eaten after 15 minutes.
In the majority of cases the prey barely has the time to touch the floor of the enclosure.
*Never leave a prey unattended with your snake.
