They take larger prey on average, than any other giant in the wild, upwards of 100-140% their body weight. In turn, they have more of a bite force, as well as some power and speed to back it up. i see i'll do some research on each of the speices and i totally agree with your commment about the african rock python. Those snakes get bigg ( sometimes mean) also from what little i read....i heard that they take everything as fair game
