If your shipper requests it, they will hold the package for you at fedex and you can pick it up. We have done this several times. The ladies at the fedex counter always want us to open the box and let them see the "pretty snakes".

That's what I did with my last package, found the FedEx location closest to me (mine stays open until 8 pm) and I knew that my snake was in a temperature controlled environment at the facility, as well as being packed professionally, so I wasn't worried at all about him. Simply stopped by there on the way home from work and he was still toasty warm.

Temp controlled in that it's inside a building where employees are working, rather than on a cold truck in the winter or hot truck in the summer experiencing temperature extremes and it's still inside it's insulated box.

you could have it held at a kinkos if one is near you. some hubs are open late too for pickup.

I dont think the people at kinkos would want a box with snakes inside in the building lol.They won't even accept a package with reptiles inside for shipping thru fedex

thats kinda funny so far ive had 8 snakes held there and even got one of them to open it and take the extra heatpack out that someone accidently put in there.

How can you have them held at a kinkos as they are just a inbetween drop off point .
