Rat forums?

Is there a rat forum out there that I'll accept snake owners? I can't join any were else because of being active on herp forums. Or do I need to make my own? Does anyonehave any stories of rat people turning on snake people on forums?

I think any forum on any reptile site... is usually labelled as pets/feeders.

if people flip on you... give them a smack down. I have seen it happen on other forums. Breeding to feed is acceptable and participating in those forums shows that you have (i assume) an interest in keeping your animals healthy, productive, and stress-free.

I post all the time to the rodent forum on one of the other sites. Someone always has to beek off, I just remind them of the location of the forum and the name of it.

Well I do think one has to be reasonable. Those folks start a forum becauase they love rats. They may breed them for pets/companion animals or for show. They aren't going to appreciate someone joining who uses the same type of animal as a feeder and well, who can blame them.

Would we enjoy looking at pictures of ball pythons used as feeder snakes? Or have a bunch of show rat breeders come here and lecture us on using rats as feeders?

I think one has to respect the focus of a forum, the aim of those that created it and if it isn't the place for you, then leave them to enjoy their hobby.

If a snakes natural prey is snakes so be it. I know my culled (if) babies(corns) probably will be king food one day. Yeah, I think starting a actual feeder forum, for the snake hobbyists would be great. What do you think?

Kingsnake actually has 2 forums for feeders... rodents and the normal feeder one.

Well we do have our Feeder section for feeder rodents as well as Other Pets where folks often post pet rat threads.
