Howdy!
Greetings from the West!
Just felt I should introduce myself. I'm a new, green, fresh meat forum member!
My name is Jennifer Marshall, I live in Southern Oregon. As is outlined in my profile I am an American Bulldog enthusiast, currently trying to build a breeding program after my stud dog was stolen from me last September. My focus is on the protection sports of French Ring and Mondioring, with further interests in Narcotics/Bomb detection and Search and Rescue.
Enough about dogs. Long time reptile admirer, I had a couple of Alligator Lizards I caught myself in the woods when young that I successfully kept alive for a couple of years before returning them to the wild. If you don't know what an Alligator Lizard is all you have to know is that they can get pretty big in this area (up to about 20" total length depending on the species) and they bite like, well, an alligator. I had 2 bearded dragons I "rescued" from an ill intentioned owner, and I had a few cornsnakes. Its been years since I've had any scaled critter in the house and I am looking forward to finally being able to pursue an interest of mine .. Ball Pythons!
I figured this forum was a good place to start. I've been reading everything I can find online for a while now, starting to order books, and soaking things up like a dry sponge. I am looking forward to getting a few juveniles this year. My primary interests are gorgeous "pets" with breeding as a possible consideration down the line. My focus is on spiders, pastels, hypos and their possibilities (I hate flying buzzing bees, can't get enough of the slithering kind!)
I'm glad to be here and look forward to learning tremendous amounts of various things.

Re: Howdy!
Thanks Argentra! Down the road when I have more saved up than I currently do I want an Axanthic Killer Bee but I love the honeybees and the bumblebees. I'll start out with a lovely spider and a pastel to admire.

Re: Howdy!
Welcome to the site. It sounds like you have a good idea of what you want to get into, but I should warn you that they are highly addictive.

Re: Howdy!
Ginevive - I currently don't have any friesians, I am working on it, though! Working out the bugs and kinks of getting a pair of geldings from the Netherlands. I just need the Friesians and some BPs and I'll have all the ingredients I need.
And potato chips? If they are indeed that addicting then I will only be limited by how many hours I can work a week and how much money I can make on my other hobbies heehee
Thanks again everyone for the warm welcome
