Tarahumara / Sonoran Mountain Boa experience?

Was wondering if anyone had any first hand experience with these guys.
I'm drawn to the fact that they are said to stay under 5'.
Was wondering if anyone can confirm.
Also, how do their overall temperaments fair? Do they tend to be aggressive like small hoggies?

After seeing this Kingsnake add (http://market.kingsnake.com/detail.php?cat=8&de=522082)
I did some searches and didn't come up with much that wasn't copy/paste.

    Any info appreciated!

They do tend to stay smaller in the long run - usually a true 5' animal is good sized for this locality. They also have a tendency to be a bit more defensive/sensitive than the more common Colombian BCI. A bit more "hissy pissy," but it's usually something that can be worked through with gentle, consistent handling & a patient keeper.

We have a five year old male who is about 44" long.

Overall temperament is decent. Ours has to be removed from his cage with a hook - after than, he's a real sweetheart - not head shy in the least......

Rio Bravo and Cutting Edge have some additional info on them.......

Re: Tarahumara / Sonoran Mountain Boa experience?

I have two Sonorans, adult males both under 4'.

As the other posters said, they can be quite hissy but mine both calm down once picked up...

They do seem more exciteable than commom boas, mine will snap at fast hand movements far more often than my other boas...so lots of slow movement for them...

They come in a hypo variety as well...the colors are different than a common hypo boa...this little guy looks like he is perpetually in shed...lots of soft pink and grey...

They are awesome boas. I have an 05 male that I would say is still under 30". Beautiful boas and the temperment seems to be fair as long as you don't spook em. More well behaved than my hoggie for sure
