My BP has been out all day
IT came out last night and is still just exploring and chilling outside it's hides.
Got him, put him back in but still the same.
Is that normal?
This is my third week with him and the first two he just hid, so I don't know much about their behavior.

Well here comes the question you've been waiting for...
What's the set up like? Temps, hides, traffic; the whole shibang.

Re: My BP has been out all day
If all of you husbandry is correct it could just be a curious snake. While most bps stay in their hides all the time there are exceptions. My friend has had one guy since august and he is always out crawling around, the only time he is in his hide is after he has had a meal.
Check your husbandry:
-Warm side 90-94
-Cool side 80-84
-Humidity 50-60%
-Two identical hides.
-Consistent day/night cycle.

Yes to all, it went to hide.
maybe it's cus' I'm in school and never saw it out at this time of day, just used to them being nocturnal.
Atleast now I know he's the type of guy to come out when light is available.

Re: My BP has been out all day
I have one that likes to get in his water bowl all day long, not soak, just in and out, and then rub wet substrate all over the glass. I will be switching him over to newspaper soon.
