    Does this look right??

    I got my CB-70 rack in the mail a couple days ago.. I cleaned the rack and the tubs with Chlorhexadine and let them air out for 3 days (to get rid of the new plastic smell) And now I'm finally setting everything up..
    I drilled vent holes in the 3 tubs, and labeled them for my snakes.
    I set up the tubs with aspen, water dishes, and hides for the 2 smaller snakes (I can't find a hide for my large BP that will fit in the rack)
    Finally, I hooked up the Helix last night to try and get all the temps correct.. I think I hooked the Helix up right, I secured the probe over the flexwatt, made the temp on the Helix 90.. And its been saying 90 all day today

    Here are some pics;

    (Helix says 90)

    (I set the rack up on 6 bricks wrapped in black duct tape, since my room is carpeted, is this okay to do or do you suggest something else?)

    Anyways, does everything look okay? Do you think it would be alright to put my snakes into the rack now? Any suggestions on something I should change/haven't done yet?

    Please let me know! Thanks!

    Looks good to me. I trust my helix too, but thats not the correct temp that your snakes will feel/need. Make sure you have a accurite or a temp gun to make sure the temp inside the tub and make sure you have something to check the humidity too.

    Thanks, is it okay that I set the Helix to 90? Or should I change that? I ordered a temp gun when I ordered my Helix so I have that as well.. And I have a temp/humidity gauge for my BPs that I haven't set up yet.. The humidity is the last thing I'm doing

    Good try, my cats would kill me! Its been their favorite new thing, they try to sleep on top of it.. Its going to kill them to not be allowed on it anymore once the snakes are in it

    Place the temp prob on inside on the flexwatt. Usually other would set it at 93....I would make 1degree increments within 1hr or so intervals with a temp prob inside.

    Thanks for the help, I'll do that now, and I just cleaned off my humidity gauge and placed it in one of the tubs to try to get that taken care of now

    I only said to use a probe bc its difficult to measure when you use ta temp gun when the tub is pushed all the way in. lol
