I have 2 of the 32 qt racks and 1 12 qt rack from reptile basics, I like them alot. You can get the deviders for the 32 qt. rack, splitting each tube up for smaller/hatchlings if wanted. And you can't go wrong with Rich's customer service.

thats true.. i have been in contact with him lately and im getting my ranco from him for sure.. i was just up in the air about the rack just yet, trying to find the best bang for my buck ya know. I do LOVE the divider idea!!

Isnt it pushing it using only the 32qt bins though? I would like to buy one rack to last them a lifetime (or as close to it) as im sure you can imagine

also, when there is back heat would you still use one hide or two? when using belly heat how do the snakes find a cool side?

    Re: animal plastics

I would think that you can keep one in the 32 qt for some time, the deminsions of the tube is 23 3/4-16 1/8- 6", the deminsion of the cb70 are 33 1/2-17 1/2-6". I guess I'm not sure if that much size difference would make that much difference in the snake or not?
I have 2 females that are around the 2000g mark in the 32 qt now and seem to be fine.
I'm not sure if there is deviders for the cb70 or not? If there is that would be what you are looking for it seems.
    Hope this helps.

    Re: animal plastics

Jeff, thats what I selected.. I was just making sure I had every base covered. Do you think I need to get the ranco instead of the one i picked? What do you have different in your set up than i do?

TIA everyone for your help.. I just know too many open spaces in my rack would cause me to buy too many snakes lol.. at least this way im limited and i know what would go in the last slot... a piebald! We would add one more rack in the future so we could keep one of our babies should we ever produce a bee, they are my dream morph (Aside from piebald)time will tell but its a start
