    incubation

Does everyone use an incubator when breeding ? If I decide to only breed one pair somewhere down the road would I need to use an incubator or can I let the female incubate.

    Re: incubation

Most people use an incubator, because it is much more accurate. Plus being the control freaks we are, having control over the eggs is nice to some people.

Even if I only had one clutch I would build an incubator. Minus the t stat I could probably put together an incubator for $20-30, so no reason not too.

    Re: incubation

Spring of '06 I let my female ball incubate her clutch the whole way through. Here's a link to the thread describing the whole event: http://www.ball-pythons.net/forums/s...ad.php?t=33496

This year I am using an incubator, hopefully it will go just as well.

    Thanks for the reply Brimstone.

Rapture, I just read the entire thread and found the baby pics. Some very good info in there of your adventure (ordeal?). All I can say is WOW and CONGRATS!
