Welcome to this great community! How cool that you listen to Reptile Radio in Australia!! Super great job Larry and BT!!!!!
So your post begs the question: Why can't you keep ball pythons in Australia? With all of the deadly herps in your country it might be nice to have a docile one!!!
    Again, welcome!

Re: Hi From Reptile Planet Australia

Thanks for the welcome guys!, I have listed my herps in my profile, All Aussy Species. The reason For this is That Australian Federal Fauna Laws Prohibit the Import of any Herp Fauna, Full stop. Unless your a recognised zoo etc, Even then the red tape is
incredible! Our largest State WA (western Australia) cant even import from other states! Its that strict.
Fortunately Im in NSW (new south wales) we have some of the most relaxed Herp laws in the country, But still no exotics So no balls either!
To answer the other question, we do have docile harmless pythons and colubrids here too.
Not everything is as deadly as it seems Lol, dont beleive the hype!

Welcome to the site! Nice to have you here

I keep a few ball pythons but my greatest passion is carpet pythons so I'm happy to see you here! Along with 9 ball pythons I also have a pair of coastals, a pair of Centralians, 2.2.1 Irian Jayas and Macklot's python. There is also a pair of Coastal/Irian jaya yearlings that are wonderful.

Enjoy the site and would love to see some pics of your critters in the Morelia area!
