A week in Paradise! DUW

Hey everyone! I know I haven't been around for awhile... but I wanted to share a few pics of what I HAVE been doing.

About six months ago, I took on a position as Event Coordinator for a company in Indianapolis. This company takes the 20% of it's sales people on a trip every year... we normally go out of the country. Last year was Jamaica, and this year, I got to plan the trip to Cancun, Mexico. We took almost 300 people down there this year and it was a total blast!

Anyway, even though I was working a good deal of the time, I got to work in absolute paradise! Ninety degree weather the entire time, right on the beach... Plus, I got to take a guest---my best friend from college---and we had a freaking amazing time!

Both my father and sister work for Defender and they both won the trip... so my entire family went! My niece and some beautiful scenery:

Jenn and I went horseback riding... we were in bathing suits because we got to ride the horses in the water. Simply the coolest thing ever!

I'm awaiting a couple more pics from my buddies... we had a foam party the night after the awards party. It was the strangest, funniest thing I have ever been witness to. There's a great picture out there of me covered in soap suds. I'll post it when I get it! Lol... anyway, thought I'd share.

Did I mention I really want to go back? Negative temps and snow are NOT making it any better!

Oh wow Lynn, I am envious! Beautiful pics, it is nice to put a face with the name.

It wasn't all fun in the sun, Joe, lol! The first couple of days were pretty hectic getting everything ready for people to arrive. And then the check-in, being on call in case anything went wrong... it was crazy. But hey, if you have to work, might as well work in Cancun!

Ingrid, we should definitely get together! What brings you to Nap-town?
