Chlorhexadine
Hey, I just got my Chlorhexadine from RBI yesterday.. I was going to mix some so I can use it in the next few days.. but theres no cleaning instructions on the bottle.. does anyone know how I should mix this and how to use it?
Also, I have rats/sugar gliders/arachnids.. would this be safe to use to clean any of their cages? Right now I'm using a bleach solution for all of my pets but I would like to switch to something else, and it would be easiest if Chlorhexadine would work with all of them.
Let me know if you know what I should do, thanks!

Re: Chlorhexadine
Mine says 2 tablespoons(1 ounce) per gallon of water. I go stronger, but thats just the I do it. My vet said they use different concentrations for different uses, like sterlizing surgical tools(stronger) or cleans wounds(most animals). I clean all my tubs and hides with it but still clean bowls for the most part with bleach. Hope this helps you
I have cleaned mold off eggs with it and egg survived(beardie). Yes you can clean everything with it.

Re: Chlorhexadine
Thanks a lot guys! I hate using bleach for the cages, I always feel like I can still smell it even though I rinse the bleach off well (I know its just my mind, but it still freaks me out)
My sugar gliders have a joey now too, so I'm trying not to use strong cleaners in my room/cages, I'm trying to stay away from bleach as much as possible.. but I understand still using it to clean water dishes, which I will do.

I also use more than 1 ounce. 1 ounce in a gallon looks like its just plain water.
