Question YB to YB Breeding Outcome???

Okay, I admit I haven't searched hard but can someone tell me the pairing combos for yellow bellys? I'd like a list of YB bred to what morph makes what. Example, yellow belly x morph 1 equals what and yellow belly x morph 2 equals what and so on. How many yb to morph combinations are there? Also, what offspring is produced when you cross a yellow belly to a yellow belly. Is it 100% ybs or a combination of ybs, ? and normals.
Yes, I'm a newbie but everyone here is talented with a wealth of info which makes this board such a great help in so many questions! Randy are you out there for this one? Newbie calling Randy and anyone else...Heeellppppp!

You are correct, in my questions for the last post you could actually insert " het for ivory" where I used the term yellow belly.

Re: YB to YB Breeding Outcome???

Yes, just remember that yellow bellies are hets. They have one copy of the yellow belly mutation and one normal copy of the same gene. Like any heterozygous animals, when they reproduce each offspring has a 50/50 chance as to which copy it will get from them.

So yb X yb produces eggs with a 25% chance of getting the yb version from both parents and being an ivory, a 50% chance of getting yb from one parent and normal from the other and being another yb, and a 25% chance of getting the normal version from both parents and being normal.

yb X pastel would again be a het X het breeding but they are different genes and the 25% chance of getting both would produce a yellow belly pastel.

There is an interesting mutation called specter (or is it spector?) that looks a lot like yellow belly but when combined with yellow belly produces the super stripe. I've not heard any super stripe breeding results yet but it will not surprise me if specter turns out to be a different mutant version of the same gene as yellow belly. The results of super stripe X normal will vary depending on if specter is the same gene as yb or not even linked to it.
