    first rack

Hey everyone!! just built my first rack system havnt moved my snakes to it yet still have some questions im useing 32QT tubs for 07 babies i have 2 but i built the rack perfect to my plan theres a back to it tho i see some racks with no backs and no side walls myne has side walls and a back wall 5/8 MDF just wondering thats ok? and they are a pretty tight fit i might need to put some air holes in the side of the tubs but i just want to make sure this sounds ok i dont want to cook my babies i havent put in the heating system yet funds alittle low right now

Perfectly fine helps maintain a more even heat

put you some air holes if there is no space at the top you might need quite a few. The main thing is to get a good thermostat to regulate you heat with. Temps can go haywire quick and cause loads of problems if you don't have a good control system in place

I suggest getting a laser temp gun along with your t'stat so you can keep a really good check on the temps!

I put my racks on casters(wheels). It makes it a lot easier to move.

*This* is a great idea! I have 2 racks stacked and will add a third (I'm sure!) Putting casters on the bottom will make my life much easier! Thanks for the tip!
