    breeding after follicle development?

so I have one female that has 8 large follicles inside her? I was wondering if I should continue to breed her I havent tried to breed her for a little over a month now. so should I give my male one more go with her to double check ?

keep pairing them till she ovulates or they wont lock again

I like to make sure the females see a male at least once a month. When I start to feel follicles I tend to move those females up in the rotation so they're seeing males even more frequently all the way until ovulation.

When i was breeding i kept rotating the male until they showed no interests in one another .I used the 3 days with the female 3 days by himself(resting lol) method.

    BREED BREED BREED!

Don't stop pairing until there are ovulations, and even then, don't completely stop the pairings. Do it until there is no interest.

I would keep going until she ovy's.. I'm actually experimenting with this this year. I put a male in with a female and noticed one of those 24 hr. locks.. I have not put another male with her since and she is Glowing like a candle!

John, can you clarify for my poor little brain? You're saying that you've only paired them one time as part of your experiment? What is the criteria for your experiment? To see if one 24 hour lock will result in a gravid female? Or am I off base and you're trying to find out something completely different?

    Thanks!

ok I put the male back in with her. checked on them about an hour later and they were locked up. thanks all of you for your input I was mistakenly thinking that follicle development = gravid.
