Rescue doing great!

Well I posted some pics of a little guy that I rescued from some not so bright people before. I gave him his own tub in a my QT room and three weeks(and multiple feedings) later he just shed and he's doing great!

Here is the day I got him:

Yeah. We really happy about him. He is 100% het for Hypo and was bought as such but the people had no experience with babies and it was starving and dehydrated due to wrong size pray and poor conditions. As I was leaving the girl dug paper work out of the trash drawer with his pics and genetics just don't understand people I offered to just help them out with advice but they didn't want the problems and said take him. (....uuummmmm okay I'll take your expensive snake for you....i guess )

That first picture is as shocking as it is heart breaking. The poor little thing does not seem as if it has enough energy to lift its head.

I'm so glad to see he is doing better. You saved a life! I wish you both a long and happy life together.

I love before and after pics. It really shows how resiliant these snakes are when they are given a chance at some decent husbandry by a caring owner. Good job!

He's het for Ghost or Hypomelanistic (lacking/reduced black and dark pigments)
Now as for your guy:

Well ....First thing I would say is get him into a tub. I cannot stress enough for rescues that a 32 qt tub is the best! It keeps humidity perfectly unlike a tank, Cost you about 3 dollars at walmart, a heat pad on a thermometer, and if the back end is darkened out it makes them much less stressed even with hides. Also IMHO do not stress him out with your stress! after moving him to the tub let him be.....I know the temptation to check on him everyday will be great ....but let the Digital thermometer do the work for you and let him have some peace and quiet. In closing also make sure that when you gonna try to feed him you use a smaller than normal prey item! best of luck !
