Matlab

Anybody here use matlab either in their job or at school? I just started a matlab class this week and it seems pretty cool. Actually I just wondered how many engineers we have on this website and what type of engineering they do. Lets hear guys.

Matlab or Mathlab? I have a Math Lab thing going on in my Statistics course.

Well right now I am using Matlab and Mathcad. I think basically what Matlab is for is writing programs to do modeling and graphing and such. Obviously I will know better once I actually take the class. In my statistics class last semester we used Minitab.
